Hi, I’m Logan.

I’m a North Carolina-born, LA-based singer-songwriter. The sounds of Americana, soul, and folk music filled my childhood home and deepened my appreciation for storytelling and artistry.

While getting my degree in public policy at Duke University, I recorded original music through the student-run label Small Town Records. I amassed over 120,000 streams, performed at the Apollo Theater’s Amateur Night, and opened for iconic artists B.o.B and Two Friends.

In August of 2022, I moved to LA with a dream and a catalog of music and recorded in the Duke student center. Since then, I’ve played many iconic LA venues such as the Viper Room, Molly Malone's, and Hotel Cafe and released new original music produced by industry veterans.

My music has been described as sounding a “modern oldie.” My vocals encapsulate the nostalgia of a jazz standard, my lyrics have the heartfelt expression of a Southern folk tune, and my production packages the melodies into a modern pop track. My hope is that my songs bring as much joy and resonance to listeners as they have to me.

My Music

My genre is multifaceted. Under the umbrella of pop, my music embraces elements of jazz, folk, and electronic. I combine my passion for music and advocacy through my music, my personalized form of storytelling. I am thankful to have the opportunity to connect with audiences through the personal nature of my music.

My Influences

I contribute my love of soul to the jazz standards that played in my childhood home. Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Frank Sinatra were always on repeat. As a North Carolinian, I am also inspired by the great folk and country artists like Patsy Cline, James Taylor, and the Avett Brothers. Some of my favorite modern artists include Adele, Amy Winehouse, Brandi Carlisle, Kelly Clarkson, Lake Street Dive, and Sammy Rae and the Friends.
